The Red Roof Inn had a few redeeming qualities amid several issues. First off, parking was convenient, making it easy to access my vehicle. The location was also decent, close to local attractions. Unfortunately, I faced several problems during my stay. The room had a potent smell of smoke lingering throughout, overpowering any fresh air. Cleaning could have been much better. I found leftover food in the fridge from previous guests, and the bathroom needed a deeper scrub. The bed was hard and pretty noisy. The front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming. I arrived trying to check in early, but the response was quite rude, and I was charged $50 to do so even though rooms were not ready. Overall, I didn’t feel comfortable during my stay and wished for a more pleasant environment.

The common areas felt neglected and some amenities seemed outdated, which detracted from the comfort level. Although the staff was friendly and willing to help with minor requests, interference from maintenance and an overpowering odor in the room made it hard to relax. For those traveling with pets, the absence of a pet fee is a definite plus, but other aspects need serious attention.

I had a clean room with no creepy crawlies and enjoyed the well-stocked breakfast that kept me fueled for the day. I would definitely stay here again!
